About Amber Lyon, President of Silver Line
Amber graduated in 1990 from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in occupational therapy. She is now married with a beautiful daughter and lives full time in Sarasota, Florida.
Amber has developed programs in Kentucky and Florida in ergonomics and orthopedic rehabilitation. Her true love in therapy has been with the geriatric population. For the past 10 years Amber has worked individually with persons in their home setting. Many of these persons were seasonal and having difficulty getting home for the summer after sustaining an injury or illness. A survey was performed with social workers and other hospital/rehabilitation personnel to confirm the fact that this was indeed a problem.
With Amber’s background in ergonomics, medicine, and the geriatric population the solution was easy. In a short time Silver Line was developed and running beautifully. After three years of specializing in long distance travel a need presented itself for affordable local assistance. In May of 2009 Silver Line Express was launched to meet this need in southwest Florida.
Presently Silver Line has assisted persons in all regions of America, and in eastern Canada. Amber is active in the administration of Silver Line and numerous community organizations. More than likely she will be the person answering the phone when you call.
When not attending to Silver Line Amber enjoys spending time with her family kayaking, biking, cooking, and, believe it or not, traveling. Call her today and say hello.
