Fees and Pricing

The Silver Line Travel Coordinator is always happy to give you an estimate of the cost of your trip.  Once you agree on the time, place, and price of your trip a contract with the details will be sent to you for review.  If pleased you simply sign the contract and return it to Silver Line.  Silver Line accepts a cashier’s check, cash, Visa, or MasterCard.

 

Silver Line bills in 10 hour increments.  This is from the time our caregiver arrives at your home to the time our caregiver returns to same area or the office (whichever is closest).

  • Companion, certified nursing assistant, and licensed practical nurse are billed at $275 for every 10 hours of travel + expenses.
  • Registered nurse, physical or occupational therapists are billed at $500 for every 10 hours of travel + expenses.
  • Consulting Fees: These fees are for those who will not be utilizing the Silver Line staff but would like us to make the arrangement for travel. This person will also assist in readying the traveler should packing and organizing the house be necessary prior to the departure date. This fee is $60 per hour billed in 15 minute intervals. There is a one hour minimum.
  • Airport Transportation and Assistance: These are quotes for use of a standard vehicle.  Wheelchair and stretcher van quotes are available upon request.  These are presently our most requested airports.  Please talk to a travel coordinator for other choices throughout the country.  The following rates are for round trip assistance.  Please note there is no Tampa Airport to Sarasota/Venice one-way service. The client is responsible for luggage fees for checked luggage. No mileage is charged for these services:

Venice to Tampa: $330.00
Venice to Sarasota: $75.00
Sarasota to Tampa: $300.00
Within Sarasota to SRQ: $60.00

Expenses

Our pricing fees are a la carte, and depend upon your needs. Extra fees and options include:

  • Airfare
  • Parking and tolls
  • Meals ($10-breakfast, $15-lunch, $20-dinner)
  • Hotel (although every effort is made to return to origin on the same day)
  • Porter tips if excessive luggage or equipment is utilized
  • Rental car or cab
  • Oxygen rental
